Mid-Year Update: Our Impact So Far |
Can you believe we're already halfway through the year!? We're incredibly proud of what our dedicated team has accomplished so far on your behalf for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Providing safe, affordable, and accessible forever homes to nearly 300 adults with IDD is no small task—but through the strength of our community, we continue to make it possible.
Every milestone we’ve reached this year is a testament to our incredible staff, donors, partners, sponsors, volunteers, and social media champions. | NEARLY 1,300 WORK ORDERS COMPLETED |
As of July 10, the PCH maintenance team has completed 1,299 work orders.
Whether it’s preventive tasks like cleaning gutters and dryer vents or urgent emergency repairs during storms, we handle it all. We’re grateful to have five full-time technicians who bring experience, heart, and skill to their work. With at least one of them on call 24/7/365, this team keeps our homes running smoothly year-round. |

Our maintenance team logged 25,247 miles behind the wheel—driving across the region. That’s enough mileage to circle the Earth at the equator and make a bonus trip from St. Louis to Cincinnati to cheer on the Cardinals against the Reds! ⚾
With more than 80 homes spread across St. Louis County, St. Charles County, Jefferson County, and St. Louis City—covering over 1,800 square miles—our team truly goes the extra mile to serve adults with IDD. |

Approximately 8,000 square feet of new flooring has been installed across six PCH homes so far this year! This essential work supports safe, smooth movement and promotes accessibility—especially for residents who use wheelchairs or walkers—helping them navigate their homes with comfort and confidence. |

| More than 30 exterior projects have been completed at approximately 25 PCH homes, including: |
- Decks and ramps of poured concrete and long-lasting composite materials

Siding
- Roofs
- Doors
- Windows
|
Each of these improvements—provided at no cost to our residents—helps create safe, high-quality, and comfortable forever homes for adults with IDD. |
