Promise Community Homes Properties, Inc. is dedicated to buying, modifying and mainlining lifetime homes for adults with developmental disabilities. As the residents age, homes are modified to include wheelchair ramps, handles and other items to assure resident safety.
Donations of real estate support the mission and the population we serve. When a home is donated, it is evaluated for its suitability for our population. If the home can be appropriately modified, it can be used as a lifetime home for future residents. If not, proceeds from the sale of such homes would be used for the purchase of an appropriate property.
There are many ways to make a gift that can pay off in big benefits to you, your family, and Promise Community Homes. Below are four generally accepted ways to make a bequest:
Options include cash or stock bequest, residuary, restricted, or honorary/memorial bequests in your will.
Bequests of Real Estate
Avoid capital gains tax on the sale of a home or other real estate by donating real estate to Promise Community Homes.
Charitable Gift Annuity
Supplemental income with fixed annual payments.

In the right circumstances, this plan can increase your income, reduce your taxes, unlock appreciated investments, rid you of investment worries, and ultimately provide very important support.

We respectfully request that you notify PCH of your planned gift by calling the Director of Advancement and Advocacy at 314-567-1522, so that we may properly acknowledge and document your bequest. Bequest of specific personal property: “I hereby, give, devise and bequeath [DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTY] to Promise Community Homes Properties, Inc. a nonprofit 501(c)(3), Tax Exempt ID# 68-0574765, located at 1240 Dautel Lane, St. Louis, Missouri 63146 for Promise Community Homes’ general use and purposes.”
For Designating PCH as the Recipient of a residence or real estate. We have provided some basic bequest language to assist you and your attorney.
